Leaseholders are reminded that under the terms of the Lease (See Clause 6 of the Fifth Schedule) the resident is responsible for cleaning the windows of the Flat (inside and outside) whenever necessary.
The majority of windows open inwards so the exterior glass can be easily accessed for cleaning. Those that don’t open inwards can easily be accessed by opening the top half and using a mop to clean the exterior glass. Balcony windows can be accessed from the balcony.
It is recommended that windows are cleaned on a monthly basis to ensure that the block always looks in good condition and maintains a high standard.
