The Porters at Reception

A porter is on duty in reception every day.

The permanent porters are Jean-Pierre and Zak.

A porter is normally on duty during the following hours. However the RTM Company reserves the right to alter these on occasions should it be necessary or appropriate to do so.

• Monday to Friday - 0730 to 1900 hours
• Saturday & Sunday - 0800 to 1830 hours

Note - normally there is no porter on duty on Christmas Day and Boxing Day

The porters are employed by the RTM Company and their primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of the site, distribute incoming post and assist with enquiries from residents, visitors and contractors.

Although they are very willing to assist residents whenever possible it is not their job to run errands or act as a carrier of luggage etc. Their primary function is to man reception.

Leaseholders should not put unreasonable demands on the porters such as expecting them to issue keys to tenants outside of their normal hours of working or asking them to leave keys at reception for the tenant to collect after hours. The porters have been instructed not to accept such requests since it is considered to be bad practice and a security risk.

It is the responsibility of Leaseholders and their Letting Agents to make suitable arrangements for the issue of keys outside of the porter's normal working hours.
